Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, When you hear the Iqama, proceed to offer the prayer with calmness and solemnity and do not make haste. And pray whatever you are able to pray and complete whatever you have missed.

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْإِقَامَةَ فَامْشُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ وَالْوَقَارِ وَلَا تُسْرِعُوا ، فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا ، وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا .

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے محمد بن عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی ذئب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے امام زہری نے سعید بن مسیب سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے (دوسری سند) اور زہری نے ابوسلمہ سے، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے   آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم لوگ تکبیر کی آواز سن لو تو نماز کے لیے ( معمولی چال سے ) چل پڑو۔ سکون اور وقار کو ( بہرحال ) پکڑے رکھو اور دوڑ کے مت آؤ۔ پھر نماز کا جو حصہ ملے اسے پڑھ لو، اور جو نہ مل سکے اسے بعد میں پورا کر لو۔
