حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ : الْتَمِسْ لَنَا غُلَامًا مِنْ غِلْمَانِكُمْ يَخْدُمُنِي ، فَخَرَجَ بِي أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يُرْدِفُنِي وَرَاءَهُ ، فَكُنْتُ أَخْدُمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّمَا نَزَلَ ، فَكُنْتُ أَسْمَعُهُ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ ، وَالْحَزَنِ ، وَالْعَجْزِ ، وَالْكَسَلِ ، وَالْبُخْلِ ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَخْدُمُهُ حَتَّى أَقْبَلْنَا مِنْ خَيْبَرَ ، وَأَقْبَلَ بِصَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ قَدْ حَازَهَا ، فَكُنْتُ أَرَاهُ يُحَوِّي وَرَاءَهُ بِعَبَاءَةٍ أَوْ كِسَاءٍ ، ثُمَّ يُرْدِفُهَا وَرَاءَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالصَّهْبَاءِ صَنَعَ حَيْسًا فِي نِطَعٍ ، ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَنِي فَدَعَوْتُ رِجَالًا ، فَأَكَلُوا وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ بِنَاءَهُ بِهَا ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا بَدَا لَهُ أُحُدٌ قَالَ : هَذَا جُبَيْلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ ، فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ جَبَلَيْهَا ، مِثْلَ مَا حَرَّمَ بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي مُدِّهِمْ وَصَاعِهِمْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اسماعیل بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن ابی عمرو، مطلب بن عبداللہ بن حنطب کے غلام نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا کہ اپنے یہاں کے لڑکوں میں سے کوئی بچہ تلاش کرو جو میرا کام کر دیا کرے۔ چنانچہ ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ مجھے اپنی سواری پر پیچھے بیٹھا کر لے گئے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بھی گھر ہوتے تو میں آپ کی خدمت کیا کرتا تھا۔ میں نے سنا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا اکثر پڑھا کرتے تھے «اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن،‏‏‏‏ والعجز والكسل،‏‏‏‏ والبخل والجبن،‏‏‏‏ وضلع الدين،‏‏‏‏ وغلبة الرجال» ”اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں غم و الم سے، عاجزی و کمزوری سے اور بخل سے اور بزدلی سے اور قرض کے بوجھ سے اور انسانوں کے غلبہ سے۔“ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت کرتا رہا۔ پھر ہم خیبر سے واپس آئے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام المؤمنین صفیہ بنت حیی رضی اللہ عنہا کے ساتھ واپس ہوئے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں اپنے لیے منتخب کیا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے لیے عبا یا چادر سے پردہ کیا اور انہیں اپنی سواری پر اپنے پیچھے بٹھایا۔ جب ہم مقام صہبا پہنچے تو آپ نے ایک چرمی دستر خوان پر کچھ مالیدہ تیار کرا کے رکھوایا پھر مجھے بھیجا اور میں کچھ صحابہ کو بلا لایا اور سب نے اسے کھایا، یہ آپ کی دعوت ولیمہ تھی۔ اس کے بعد آپ آگے بڑھے اور احد پہاڑ دکھائی دیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا یہ پہاڑ ہم سے محبت کرتا ہے اور ہم اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں۔ آپ جب مدینہ منورہ پہنچے تو فرمایا ”اے اللہ! میں اس شہر کے دونوں پہاڑوں کے درمیانی علاقہ کو اس طرح حرمت والا قرار دیتا ہوں جس طرح ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے مکہ کو حرمت والا قرار دیا تھا۔ اے اللہ! یہاں والوں کے مد میں اور ان کے صاع میں برکت عطا فرما۔“

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said to Abu Talha, Choose one of your boys to serve me. So Abu Talha took me (to serve the Prophet ) by giving me a ride behind him (on his camel). So I used to serve Allah's Apostle whenever he stayed somewhere. I used to hear him saying, O Allah! I seek refuge with you (Allah) from (worries) care and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by other men. I kept on serving him till he returned from (the battle of) Khaibar. He then brought Safiya, the daughter of Huyay whom he had got (from the booty). I saw him making a kind of cushion with a cloak or a garment for her. He then let her ride behind him. When we reached a place called As-Sahba', he prepared (a special meal called) Hais, and asked me to invite the men who (came and) ate, and that was the marriage banquet given on the consummation of his marriage to her. Then he proceeded till the mountain of Uhud appeared, whereupon he said, This mountain loves us and we love it. When he approached Medina, he said, O Allah! I make the land between its (i.e., Medina's) two mountains a sanctuary, as the prophet Abraham made Mecca a sanctuary. O Allah! Bless them (the people of Medina) in their Mudd and the Sa' (units of measuring).
