Baab Dil Ko Narm Kerne Wali Baaton Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حَارِثَةَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : وَذَكَرَ الْحَوْضَ ، فَقَالَ : كَمَا بَيْنَ الْمَدِينَةِ ، وَصَنْعَاءَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حرمی بن عمارہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے معبد بن خالد نے بیان کیا، انہیں نے حارثہ بن وہب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حوض کا ذکر کیا اور فرمایا کہ ( وہ اتنا بڑا ہے ) جتنی مدینہ اور صنعاء کے درمیان دوری ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Haritha bin Wahb: I heard the Prophet mentioning the Lake-Fount (Al-Kauthar), saying, (The width of the Lake-Fount) is equal to the distance between Medina and Sana' (capital of Yemen).
