Baab Qasmon Ke Kaffara Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَشْتَرِيَ بَرِيرَةَ فَاشْتَرَطُوا عَلَيْهَا الْوَلَاءَ ، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : اشْتَرِيهَا ، فَإِنَّمَا الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کے، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے حکم بن عتبہ نے، ان سے ابراہیم نخعی نے، ان سے اسود بن یزید نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   انہوں نے بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو ( آزاد کرنے کے لیے ) خریدنا چاہا، تو ان کے پہلے مالکوں نے اپنے لیے ولاء کی شرط لگائی۔ میں نے اس کا ذکر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ خرید لو، ولاء تو اسی سے ہوتی ہے جو آزاد کرتا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: that she intended to buy Barira (a slave girl) and her masters stipulated that they would have her Wala'. When `Aisha mentioned that to the Prophet ; he said, Buy her, for the Wala' is for the one who manumits.
