Baab Had Aur Sazaon Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . ح حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ،حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ضَرَبَ فِي الْخَمْرِ بِالْجَرِيدِ ، وَالنِّعَالِ ، وَجَلَدَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَرْبَعِينَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ہشام نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (دوسری سند) ہم سے آدم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شراب پینے پر چھڑی اور جوتے سے مارا تھا اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے چالیس کوڑے مارے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet beat a drunk with palm-leaf stalks and shoes. And Abu Bakr gave (such a sinner) forty lashes.
