حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : هَاجَرَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بِسَارَةَ ، دَخَلَ بِهَا قَرْيَةً فِيهَا مَلِكٌ مِنَ الْمُلُوكِ ، أَوْ جَبَّارٌ مِنَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ أَرْسِلْ إِلَيَّ بِهَا ، فَأَرْسَلَ بِهَا ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهَا ، فَقَامَتْ تَوَضَّأُ وَتُصَلِّي ، فَقَالَتْ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتُ آمَنْتُ بِكَ وَبِرَسُولِكَ ، فَلَا تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيَّ الْكَافِرَ ، فَغُطَّ حَتَّى رَكَضَ بِرِجْلِهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعیب نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوالزناد نے، ان سے اعرج نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے سارہ علیہا السلام کو ساتھ لے کر ہجرت کی تو ایک ایسی بستی میں پہنچے جس میں بادشاہوں میں سے ایک بادشاہ یا ظالموں میں سے ایک ظالم رہتا تھا اس ظالم نے ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پاس یہ حکم بھیجا کہ سارہ علیہا السلام کو اس کے پاس بھیجیں آپ نے سارہ کو بھیج دیا وہ ظالم ان کے پاس آیا تو وہ ( سارہ علیہا السلام ) وضو کر کے نماز پڑھ رہی تھیں انہوں نے دعا کی کہ اے اللہ! اگر میں تجھ پر اور تیرے رسول پر ایمان رکھتی ہوں تو تو مجھ پر کافر کو نہ مسلط کر پھر ایسا ہوا کہ وہ کم بخت بادشاہ اچانک خراٹے لینے اور گر کر پاؤں ہلانے لگا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, (The Prophet) Abraham migrated with his wife Sarah till he reached a town where there was a king or a tyrant who sent a message, to Abraham, ordering him to send Sarah to him. So when Abraham had sent Sarah, the tyrant got up, intending to do evil with her, but she got up and performed ablution and prayed and said, 'O Allah ! If I have believed in You and in Your Apostle, then do not empower this oppressor over me.' So he (the king) had an epileptic fit and started moving his legs violently.
