Baab Khuwab Ki Tabeer Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا لَقِيتُهُ بِالْيَمَامَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْحُلْمُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ، فَإِذَا حَلَمَ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ مِنْهُ ، وَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ ، فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ ،وَعَنْ أَبِيهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر نے بیان کیا اور ان کی تعریف کی کہ میں نے ان سے یمامہ میں ملاقات کی تھی، ان سے ان کے والد نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ اور ان سے ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اچھا خواب اللہ کی طرف سے ہوتا ہے اور برا خواب شیطان کی طرف سے پس اگر کوئی برا خواب دیکھے تو اسے اس سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگنی چاہئیے اور بائیں طرف تھوکنا چاہئیے یہ خواب اسے کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گا“ اور عبداللہ بن یحییٰ سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن ابی قتادہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ان کے والد نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح بیان کیا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet said, A good dream that comes true is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan, so if anyone of you sees a bad dream, he should seek refuge with Allah from Satan and should spit on the left, for the bad dream will not harm him.
