Baab Khuwab Ki Tabeer Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ ثَائِرَةَ الرَّأْسِ خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى قَامَتْ بِمَهْيَعَةَ وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ ، فَأَوَّلْتُ أَنَّ وَبَاءَ الْمَدِينَةِ نُقِلَ إِلَيْهَا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے اسماعیل بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا مجھ سے میرے بھائی عبدالحمید نے بیان کیا، ان سے سلیمان بن بلال نے بیان کیا، ان سے موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے بیان کیا ان سے سالم بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اپنے والد عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں نے دیکھا جیسے ایک سیاہ عورت پراگندہ بال، مدینہ سے نکلی اور مہیعہ میں جا کر کھڑی ہو گئی۔ مہیعہ حجفہ کو کہتے ہیں۔ میں نے اس کی یہ تعبیر لی کہ مدینہ کی وبا حجفہ نامی بستی میں چلی گئی۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet said, I saw (in a dream) a black woman with unkempt hair going out of Medina and settling at Mahai'a, i.e., Al-Juhfa. I interpreted that as a symbol of epidemic of Medina being transferred to that place (Al-Juhfa).
