Baab Fitno Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، قَالَ : إِنِّي لَجَالِسٌ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَأَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ ، وَالْهَرْجُ بِلِسَانِ الْحَبَشَةِ : الْقَتْلُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے قتیبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے جریر نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابووائل نے بیان کیا کہ   میں عبداللہ بن مسعود اور ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ بیٹھا ہوا تھا تو ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا اسی طرح۔ «هرج» حبشہ کی زبان میں قتل کو کہتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet said...(as above, 185). And Harj, in the Ethiopian language, means killing.
