Sahih Bukhari 7102 - The Book Of Al-Fitan

Baab Fitno Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا بَدَلُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ ، يَقُولُ : دَخَلَ أَبُو مُوسَى ، وَأَبُو مَسْعُودٍ ، عَلَى عَمَّارٍ حَيْثُ بَعَثَهُ عَلِيٌّ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ يَسْتَنْفِرُهُمْ ، فَقَالَا : مَا رَأَيْنَاكَ أَتَيْتَ أَمْرًا أَكْرَهَ عِنْدَنَا مِنْ إِسْرَاعِكَ فِي هَذَا الْأَمْرِ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتَ ، فَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ : مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْكُمَا مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُمَا أَمْرًا أَكْرَهَ عِنْدِي مِنْ إِبْطَائِكُمَا عَنْ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ ، وَكَسَاهُمَا حُلَّةً حُلَّةً ثُمَّ رَاحُوا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے بدل بن محبر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ کو عمرو نے خبر دی کہ میں نے ابووائل سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   ابوموسیٰ اور ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہما دونوں عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس گئے جب انہیں علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے اہل کوفہ کے پاس اس لیے بھیجا تھا کہ لوگوں کو لڑنے کے لیے تیار کریں۔ ابوموسیٰ اور ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہما دونوں عمار رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہنے لگے جب سے تم مسلمانوں ہوئے ہو ہم نے کوئی بات اس سے زیادہ بری نہیں دیکھی جو تم اس کام میں جلدی کر رہے ہو۔ عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے جواب دیا میں نے بھی جب سے تم دونوں مسلمان ہوئے ہو تمہاری کوئی بات اس سے بری نہیں دیکھی جو تم اس کام میں دیر کر رہے ہو۔ ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے عمار رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ دونوں کو ایک ایک کپڑے کا نیا جوڑا پہنایا پھر تینوں مل کر مسجد میں تشریف لے گئے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Wail: Abu Musa and Abii Mas`ud went to `Ammar when `Ali had sent him to Kufa to exhort them to fight (on `Ali's side). They said to him, Since you have become a Muslim, we have never seen you doing a deed more criticizable to us than your haste in this matter. `Ammar said, Since you (both) became Muslims, I have never seen you doing a deed more criticizable to me than your keeping away from this matter. Then Abu Mas`ud provided `Ammar and Abu Musa with two-piece outfits to wear, and one of them went to the mosque (of Kufa).
