Baab Fitno Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ : مَا سَأَلَ أَحَدٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدَّجَّالِ أَكْثَرَ مَا سَأَلْتُهُ ، وَإِنَّهُ قَالَ لِي : مَا يَضُرُّكَ مِنْهُ ، قُلْتُ : لِأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ مَعَهُ جَبَلَ خُبْزٍ وَنَهَرَ مَاءٍ ، قَالَ : هُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے قیس نے بیان کیا، کہ مجھ سے مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ   دجال کے بارے میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جتنا میں نے پوچھا اتنا کسی نے نہیں پوچھا اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا تھا کہ اس سے تمہیں کیا نقصان پہنچے گا۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے ساتھ روٹی کا پہاڑ اور پانی کی نہر ہو گی، فرمایا کہ وہ اللہ پر اس سے بھی زیادہ آسان ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba: Nobody asked the Prophet as many questions as I asked regarding Ad-Dajjal. The Prophet said to me, What worries you about him? I said, Because the people say that he will have a mountain of bread and a river of water with him (i.e. he will have abundance of food and water) The Prophet said, Nay, he is too mean to be allowed such a thing by Allah ' (but it is only to test mankind whether they believe in Allah or in Ad-Dajjal.)
