Baab Naik Tareen Arzoun Ke Jaiz Hone Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ وَادِيًا وَسَلَكَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا ، أَوْ شِعْبًا لَسَلَكْتُ وَادِيَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، أَوْ شِعْبَ الْأَنْصَارِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابوالزناد نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعرج نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اگر ہجرت ( کی فضیلت ) نہ ہوتی تو میں انصار کا ایک فرد بننا ( پسند کرتا ) اور اگر دوسرے لوگ کسی وادی میں چلیں اور انصار ایک وادی یا گھاٹی میں چلیں تو میں انصار کی وادی یا گھاٹی میں چلوں گا۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, But for the emigration, I would have been one of the Ansar: and if the people took their way in a valley (or a mountain pass), I would take the Ansar's valley or the mountain pass.
