Baab Allah Aur Sunnat E Rasool S.A.W.W Ko Mazbooti Thaamy Rehna

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي مِكْيَالِهِمْ ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ وَمُدِّهِمْ ، يَعْنِي : أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے امام مالک نے، ان سے اسحاق بن عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اے اللہ! ان مدینہ والوں کے پیمانہ میں انہیں برکت دے اور ان کے صاع اور مد میں انہیں برکت دے۔“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مراد اہل مدینہ ( کے صاع و مد ) سے تھی ( مدنی صاع اور مد کو بھی تاریخی عظمت حاصل ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, O Allah! Bestow Your Blessings on their measures, and bestow Your Blessings on their Sa' and Mudd. He meant those of the people of Medina.
