Baab Allah Ki Tauheed Is Ki Zaat Aur Sifaat Ka Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، وَهُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذْ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ ، قَالَ : إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الْقَمَرَ لَا تُضَامُونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَصَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ فَافْعَلُوا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عمر بن عون نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے خالد اور ہشیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسماعیل نے، ان سے قیس نے اور ان سے جریر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بیٹھے تھے کہ آپ نے چاند کی طرف دیکھا، چودھوریں رات کا چاند تھا اور فرمایا کہ تم لوگ اپنے رب کو اسی طرح دیکھو گے جس طرح اس چاند کو دیکھ رہے ہو اور اس کے دیکھنے میں کوئی دھکم پیل نہیں ہو گی۔ پس اگر تمہیں اس کی طاقت ہو کہ سورج طلوع ہونے کے پہلے اور سورج غروب ہونے کے بعد کی نمازوں میں سستی نہ ہو تو ایسا کر لو۔

English Translation

Narrated Jarir: We were sitting with the Prophet and he looked at the moon on the night of the full-moon and said, You people will see your Lord as you see this full moon, and you will have no trouble in seeing Him, so if you can avoid missing (through sleep or business, etc.) a prayer before sunrise (Fajr) and a prayer before sunset (`Asr) you must do so.
