Baab Allah Ki Tauheed Is Ki Zaat Aur Sifaat Ka Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَعْرَابِيٍّ يَعُودُهُ ، فَقَالَ : لَا بَأْسَ عَلَيْكَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ : طَهُورٌ ، بَلْ هِيَ حُمَّى تَفُورُ عَلَى شَيْخٍ كَبِيرٍ تُزِيرُهُ الْقُبُورَ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فَنَعَمْ إِذًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے خالد حذاء نے بیان کیا، ان سے عکرمہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک اعرابی کی عیادت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے اور اس سے کہا کہ کوئی مضائقہ نہیں یہ ( بیماری ) تمہارے لیے پاکی کا باعث ہے، اس پر اس نے کہا کہ جناب یہ وہ بخار ہے جو ایک بڈھے پر جوش مار رہا ہے اور اسے قبر تک پہنچا کے رہے گا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر یونہی ہو گا۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle entered upon a sick bedouin in whom he went to visit and said to him, Don't worry, Tahur (i.e., your illness will be a means of cleansing of your sins), if Allah Will. The bedouin said, Tahur! No, but it is a fever that is burning in the body of an old man and it will make him visit his grave. The Prophet said, Then it is so.
