Baab Allah Ki Tauheed Is Ki Zaat Aur Sifaat Ka Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الذَّنْبِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : أَنْ تَجْعَلَ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا وَهُوَ خَلَقَكَ ، قُلْتُ : إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَعَظِيمٌ ، قُلْتُ : ثُمَّ أَيُّ ؟ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ أَنْ تَقْتُلَ وَلَدَكَ تَخَافُ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ مَعَكَ ، قُلْتُ : ثُمَّ أَيُّ ؟ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ أَنْ تُزَانِيَ بِحَلِيلَةِ جَارِكَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر نے بیان کیا، ان سے منصور نے، ان سے ابووائل نے، ان سے عمرو بن شرجیل نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ کون سا گناہ اللہ کے یہاں سب سے بڑا ہے؟ فرمایا یہ کہ تم اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک ٹھہراؤ حالانکہ اسی نے تمہیں پیدا کیا ہے۔ میں نے کہا یہ تو بہت بڑا گناہ ہے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: پھر کون سا؟ فرمایا یہ کہ تم اپنے بچے کو اس خطرہ کی وجہ سے قتل کر دو کہ وہ تمہارے ساتھ کھائے گا۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ پھر کون؟ فرمایا یہ کہ تم اپنے پڑوسی کی بیوی سے زنا کرو۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah: I asked Allah's Apostle What is the biggest sin in the sight of Allah? He said, To set up rivals unto Allah though He alone created you. I said, In fact, that is a tremendous sin, and added, What next? He said, To kill your son being afraid that he may share your food with you. I further asked, What next? He said, To commit illegal sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor.
