حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ قَوْلَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَيَمَسُّ طِيبًا أَوْ دُهْنًا إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِهِ ، فَقَالَ : لَا أَعْلَمُهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابراہیم بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں ہشام بن یوسف نے خبر دی، کہ انہیں ابن جریج نے خبر دی انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے ابراہیم بن میسرہ نے طاؤس سے خبر دی اور انہیں عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے،   آپ نے جمعہ کے دن غسل کے بارے میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حدیث کا ذکر کیا تو میں نے کہا کہ کیا تیل اور خوشبو کا استعمال بھی ضروری ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ مجھے معلوم نہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Tawus: Ibn `Abbas mentioned the statement of the Prophet regarding the taking of a bath on Friday and then I asked him whether the Prophet (p.b.u.h) had ordered perfume or (hair) oil to be used if they could be found in one's house. He (Ibn `Abbas) replied that he did not know about it
