حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُ : نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَقْعَدِهِ وَيَجْلِسَ فِيهِ ، قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ : الْجُمُعَةَ ، قَالَ : الْجُمُعَةَ وَغَيْرَهَا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن سلام بیکندی رحمہ اللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہمیں مخلد بن یزید نے خبر دی، کہا کہ ہمیں ابن جریج نے خبر دی، کہا کہ میں نے نافع سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا میں نے عبداللہ بن عمر سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ کوئی شخص اپنے مسلمان بھائی کو اٹھا کر اس کی جگہ خود بیٹھ جائے۔ میں نے نافع سے پوچھا کہ کیا یہ جمعہ کے لیے ہے تو انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ جمعہ اور غیر جمعہ سب کے لیے یہی حکم ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn Juraij: I heard Nazi' saying, Ibn `Umar, said, 'The Prophet forbade that a man should make another man to get up to sit in his place' . I said to Nafi`, 'Is it for Jumua prayer only?' He replied, For Jumua prayer and any other (prayer).
