Narrated Hisham bin Saad: There was a distance of ten miles between them, that is, Makkah and Sarif.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ جَارُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَيْنَهُمَا عَشَرَةُ أَمْيَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَعْنِي بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَرِفٍ.
