Narrated Aishah: Allah, the Exalted, would awaken the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم at night. When the dawn came, he would his finish daily round of recital.

حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْكُوفِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُوقِظُهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِاللَّيْلِ فَمَا يَجِيءُ السَّحَرُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ حِزْبِهِ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اللہ تعالیٰ رات کو جگا دیتا پھر صبح نہ ہوتی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے معمول سے فارغ ہو جاتے۔
