Baab Sunnah Ki Ehmiyat O Fazilat

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ يَعْنِي الرَّبِيعَ بْنَ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمَلِيحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ زَوْرَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَخَذَ كَفًّا مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَدْخَلَهُ تَحْتَ حَنَكِهِ فَخَلَّلَ بِهِ لِحْيَتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَكَذَا أَمَرَنِي رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْوَلِيدُ بْنُ زَوْرَانَ:‏‏‏‏ رَوَى عَنْهُ حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَجَّاجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو الْمَلِيحِ الرَّقِّيُّ.

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب وضو کرتے تو ایک چلو پانی لے کر اسے اپنی ٹھوڑی کے نیچے لے جاتے تھے، پھر اس سے اپنی داڑھی کا خلال کرتے اور فرماتے: میرے رب عزوجل نے مجھے ایسا ہی حکم دیا ہے ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ولید بن زور ان سے حجاج بن حجاج اور ابوالملیح الرقی نے روایت کی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: Whenever the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم performed ablution, he took a handful of water, and, putting it under his chin, made it go through his beard, saying: Thus did my Lord command me.
