حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأحْوَلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَخَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سلام پھیرتے تو فرماتے: «اللهم أنت السلام ومنك السلام تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرام» ۱؎ اے اللہ تو ہی سلام ہے، تیری ہی طرف سے سلام ہے، تو بڑی برکت والا ہے، اے جلال اور بزرگی والے ۔ امام ابوداؤد رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں: سفیان کا سماع عمرو بن مرہ سے ہے، لوگوں نے کہا ہے: انہوں نے عمرو بن مرہ سے اٹھارہ حدیثیں سنی ہیں ۲؎۔

English Translation

Aishah said: When the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم uttered taslim, he used to say: O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity.
