Sunan Abu Dawood 1606 - Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ وَهِيَ تَذْكُرُ شَأْنَ خَيْبَرَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْعَثُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ إِلَى يَهُودَ فَيَخْرُصُ النَّخْلَ حِينَ يَطِيبُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُؤْكَلَ مِنْهُ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا خیبر کے معاملہ کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے بیان کرتی ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہودیوں کے پاس بھیجتے تو وہ کھجور کو اس وقت اندازہ لگاتے جب وہ پکنے کے قریب ہو جاتی قبل اس کے کہ وہ کھائی جا سکے۱؎۔

English Translation

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Describing the conquest of Khaybar Aishah said: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to send Abdullah ibn Rawahah to the Jews of Khaybar, and he would make an estimate of the palm trees when the fruit was in good condition before any of it was eaten.
