حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةِ، أَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ عِدَّةً مِنْ مَسَاكِينَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وقَالَ غَيْرُهُ: أَوْ عِدَّةً مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَعْطِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصَى عَلَيْكِ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے کئی مسکینوں کا ذکر کیا ( ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: دوسروں کی روایت میں «عدة من صدقة» ( کئی صدقوں کا ذکر ہے ) تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: دو اور گنو مت کہ تمہیں بھی گن گن کر رزق دیا جائے ۔
Abu Mulaykah reported: Aishah counted a number of indigents. Abu Dawud said: The other version has: She counted a number of sadaqahs. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Give and do not calculate, so calculation will be made against you.
