حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَجُلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَجَدَ دِينَارًا فَأَتَى بِهِ فَاطِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَأَلَتْ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ رِزْقُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَكَلَ عَلِيٌّ وَ فَاطِمَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَتَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ تَنْشُدُ الدِّينَارَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا عَلِيُّ أَدِّ الدِّينَارَ .

Urdu Translation

ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ کو ایک دینار ملا تو وہ اسے لے کر فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آئے، انہوں نے اس کے متعلق رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: وہ اللہ عزوجل کا دیا ہوا رزق ہے ، چنانچہ اس میں سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھایا اور علی اور فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے کھایا، اس کے بعد ان کے پاس ایک عورت دینار ڈھونڈھتی ہوئی آئی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: علی! دینار ادا کر دو ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: Ali ibn Abu Talib found a dinar and he took it to Fatimah. She asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about it. He said: This is Allah's provision. Then the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ate out of the food (bought with it), and Ali and Fatimah also ate out of that food. But afterwards a woman came crying out about the dinar. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Pay the dinar, Ali.
