حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ رُكُوبِ الْهَدْيِ ؟ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ ارْكَبْهَا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ إِذَا أُلْجِئْتَ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى تَجِدَ ظَهْرًا .

Urdu Translation

ابوزبیر کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے ہدی پر سوار ہونے کے بارے میں پوچھا: تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے، جب تم اس کے لیے مجبور کر دئیے جاؤ تو اس پر سوار ہو جاؤ بھلائی کے ساتھ یہاں تک کہ تمہیں کوئی دوسری سواری مل جائے ۱؎۔

English Translation

Abu al-Zubair said: I asked Jabir bin Abdallah about riding on the sacrificial camels. He said I heard The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saying ride on them gently when you have nothing else till you find a mount.
