حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ لَبَّيْنَا بِالْحَجِّ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِسَرِفَ حِضْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا يُبْكِيكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ ؟ فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ حِضْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَكُنْ حَجَجْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ! إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ انْسُكِي الْمَنَاسِكَ كُلَّهَا غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا دَخَلْنَا مَكَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا عُمْرَةً إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ وَذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ الْبَقَرَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ الْبَطْحَاءِ وَطَهُرَتْ عَائِشَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَتَرْجِعُ صَوَاحِبِي بِحَجٍّ وَعُمْرَةٍ وَأَرْجِعُ أَنَا بِالْحَجِّ ؟ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَذَهَبَ بِهَا إِلَى التَّنْعِيمِ فَلَبَّتْ بِالْعُمْرَةِ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   ہم نے حج کا تلبیہ پڑھا یہاں تک کہ جب ہم مقام سرف میں پہنچے تو مجھے حیض آ گیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس تشریف لائے اور میں رو رہی تھی، آپ نے پوچھا: عائشہ! تم کیوں رو رہی ہو؟ ، میں نے کہا: مجھے حیض آ گیا کاش میں نے ( امسال ) حج کا ارادہ نہ کیا ہوتا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ کی ذات پاک ہے، یہ تو بس ایسی چیز ہے جو اللہ نے آدم کی بیٹیوں کے واسطے لکھ دی ہے ، پھر فرمایا: تم حج کے تمام مناسک ادا کرو البتہ تم بیت اللہ کا طواف نہ کرو ۱؎ پھر جب ہم مکہ میں داخل ہوئے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو اسے عمرہ بنانا چاہے تو وہ اسے عمرہ بنا لے ۲؎ سوائے اس شخص کے جس کے ساتھ ہدی ہو ، ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یوم النحر ( دسویں ذی الحجہ ) کو اپنی ازواج مطہرات کی جانب سے گائے ذبح کی۔ جب بطحاء کی رات ہوئی اور عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا حیض سے پاک ہو گئیں تو انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا میرے ساتھ والیاں حج و عمرہ دونوں کر کے لوٹیں گی اور میں صرف حج کر کے لوٹوں گی؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہما کو حکم دیا وہ انہیں لے کر مقام تنعیم گئے پھر ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے وہاں سے عمرہ کا تلبیہ پڑھا۔

English Translation

Aishah said: We raised our voices in talbiyah for Hajj. When we reached Sarif, I menstruated. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came upon me while I was weeping. He asked, why are your weeping, Aishah? I replied, I menstruated. Would that I had not come out for performing Hajj. He said: Glory be to Allah, this is a thing prescribed by Allah on the daughters of Adam. He said perform all the rites of Hajj but do not go round the House (the Kaabah). When we entered Makkah, the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said he who desires to make (his Hajj) an Umrah may do so, except those who have sacrificial animals with them. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives on the day of sacrifice. When the night of al-Batha came, and Aishah was purified she said to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم my fellow female pilgrims will return after performing Hajj and Umrah and I shall return after performing only Hajj? He therefore, ordered Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr who took her to al-Ta’nim. She uttered there talbiyah for Umrah.
