Baab Sunnah Ki Ehmiyat O Fazilat

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَغْرَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا أَصْحَابٌ لَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْمُزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ لِرَجُلٍ:‏‏‏‏ احْكِ عَنِّي أَنَّ هَذَيْنِ يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ الْأَعْمَشِ هَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثَهُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ فِي الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا تَتَوَضَّأُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَحْيَى:‏‏‏‏ احْكِ عَنِّي أَنَّهُمَا شِبْهُ لَا شَيْءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرُوِيَ عَنْ الثَّوْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ إِلَّا عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْمُزَنِيِّ يَعْنِي لَمْ يُحَدِّثْهُمْ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بِشَيْءٍ. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَقَدْ رَوَى حَمْزَةُ الزَّيَّاتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ حَدِيثًا صَحِيحًا.

Urdu Translation

اس سند سے بھی ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے ایک شخص سے کہا: میرے حوالہ سے بیان کرو کہ یہ دونوں حدیثیں یعنی ایک تو یہی اعمش کی حدیث جو حبیب سے مروی ہے، دوسری وہ جو اسی سند سے مستحاضہ کے متعلق مروی ہے کہ وہ ہر نماز کے لیے وضو کرے گی «لا شىء» کے مشابہ ہے ( یعنی یہ دونوں حدیثیں سند کے اعتبار سے ضعیف ہیں ) ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ثوری سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے حبیب نے صرف عروہ مزنی کے طریق سے بیان کیا، یعنی ان لوگوں سے حبیب نے عروہ بن زبیر کے واسطہ سے کچھ نہیں بیان کیا ہے ( یعنی: عروہ بن زبیر سے حبیب کی روایت ثابت نہیں ) ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: لیکن حمزہ زیات نے حبیب سے، حبیب نے عروہ بن زبیر سے، عروہ نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے ایک صحیح حدیث روایت کی ہے ( یعنی: عروہ بن زبیر سے حبیب کی روایت صحیح ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Aishah reported: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم kissed one of his wives and went out for saying prayer. He did not perform ablution. Urwah said: I said to her: Who is she except you! Thereupon she laughed. Abu Dawud said: The same version has been reported through a different chain of narrators.
