Al Bara (bin Azib) said When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم concluded the treaty with the people of Al Hudaibiyyah, they stipulated that they (the Muslims) would not enter (Makkah) except with the bag of armament (julban al-silah). I asked what is julban al-silah? He replied: The bag with its contents.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَمَّا صَالَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْلَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏صَالَحَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلَّا بِجُلْبَانِ السِّلَاحِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَأَلْتُهُ:‏‏‏‏ مَا جُلْبَانُ السِّلَاحِ ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْقِرَابُ بِمَا فِيهِ .

براء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حدیبیہ والوں سے صلح کی تو آپ نے ان سے اس شرط پر مصالحت کی کہ مسلمان مکہ میں جلبان السلاح کے ساتھ ہی داخل ہوں گے ۱؎ تو میں نے ان سے پوچھا: «جلبان السلاح» کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: «جلبان السلاح» میان کا نام ہے اس چیز سمیت جو اس میں ہو۔
