حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا لَفْظُ ابْنِ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْدَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرٍ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِهِ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَذَكَرَ الْقِصَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَعَكَ دَمٌ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ تَصَدَّقْ بِثَلَاثَةِ آصُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ بَيْنَ كُلِّ مِسْكِينَيْنِ صَاعٌ .

Urdu Translation

کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صلح حدیبیہ کے زمانے میں ان کے پاس سے گزرے، پھر انہوں نے یہی قصہ بیان کیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: کیا تمہارے ساتھ دم دینے کا جانور ہے؟ ، انہوں نے کہا: نہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو تو تین دن کے روزے رکھو، یا چھ مسکینوں کو تین صاع کھجور کھلاؤ، اس طرح کہ ہر دو مسکین کو ایک صاع مل جائے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Kab ibn Ujrah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came upon him (during their stay) at al-Hudaybiyyah. He then narrated the rest of the tradition. This version adds: He asked: Do you have a sacrificial animal? He replied: No. He then said: Fast three days or give three sa's of dates to six poor people, giving one sa' to every two persons.
