حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْمُزْنِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمُزْنِيُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ بِمِنًى حِينَ ارْتَفَعَ الضُّحَى عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ شَهْبَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يُعَبِّرُ عَنْهُ وَالنَّاسُ بَيْنَ قَاعِدٍ وَقَائِمٍ .

Urdu Translation

رافع بن عمرو المزنی کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو منیٰ میں ایک سفید خچر پر سوار لوگوں کو خطبہ دیتے سنا جس وقت آفتاب بلند ہو چکا تھا اور علی رضی اللہ عنہ آپ کی طرف سے اسے لوگوں کو پہنچا ۱؎ رہے تھے اور دور والوں کو بتا رہے تھے، کچھ لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور کچھ کھڑے تھے۔

English Translation

Narrated Rafi ibn Amr al-Muzani: I saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم addressing the people at Mina (on the day of sacrifice) when the sun rose high (i. e. in the forenoon) on a white mule, and Ali (Allah be pleased with him) was interpreting on his behalf; some people were standing and some sitting.
