Sunan Abu Dawood 2062 - Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَشْرُ رَضَعَاتٍ يُحَرِّمْنَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ نُسِخْنَ بِخَمْسٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ يُحَرِّمْنَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُنَّ مِمَّا يُقْرَأُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   اللہ تعالیٰ نے جو چیزیں نازل کی ہیں ان میں «عشر رضعات يحرمن» والی آیت بھی تھی پھر یہ آیت «خمس معلومات يحرمن» والی آیت سے منسوخ ہو گئی، اس کے بعد نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہو گئی اور یہ آیتیں پڑھی جا رہی تھیں ( یعنی بعض لوگ پڑھتے تھے پھر وہ بھی متروک ہو گئیں ) ۔

English Translation

Aishah said “In what was sent down in the Quran ten suckling’s made marriage unlawful, but they were abrogated by five known ones and when the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم dies, these words were among what was recited in the Quran. ”
