Sunan Abu Dawood 2292 - Divorce (Kitab Al-Talaq)

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَقَدْ عَابَتْ ذَلِكَ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَشَدَّ الْعَيْبِ يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ كَانَتْ فِي مَكَانٍ وَحْشٍ فَخِيفَ عَلَى نَاحِيَتِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلِذَلِكَ رَخَّصَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Urdu Translation

عروہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فاطمہ بنت قیس رضی اللہ عنہا کی حدیث پر سخت نکیر کرتی تھیں اور کہتی تھیں: چونکہ فاطمہ ایک ویران مکان میں رہتی تھیں جس کی وجہ سے ان کے بارے میں خدشہ لاحق ہوا اسی لیے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ( مکان بدلنے کی ) رخصت دی تھی۔

English Translation

Urwah said: Aishah (Allah be pleased with her) severely objected to the tradition of Fatimah daughter of Qays. She said: Fatimah lived in a desolate house and she feared for her loneliness there. Hence the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم accorded permission to her (to leave the place).
