Sunan Abu Dawood 2480 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ لَا هِجْرَةَ وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فتح ( مکہ ) کے دن فرمایا: اب ( مکہ فتح ہو جانے کے بعد مکہ سے ) ہجرت نہیں ( کیونکہ مکہ خود دارالاسلام ہو گیا ) لیکن جہاد اور ( ہجرت کی ) نیت باقی ہے، جب تمہیں جہاد کے لیے نکلنے کو کہا جائے تو نکل پڑو ۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas reported that Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying on the day of the conquest of Makkah: There is no emigration (after the conquest of Makkah, but only Jihad (striving in the path of Allah) and some intention. So when you are summoned to go forth (for Jihad), go forth.
