Sunan Abu Dawood 2510 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى بَنِي لَحْيَانَ وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لِيَخْرُجْ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ رَجُلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لِلْقَاعِدِ أَيُّكُمْ خَلَفَ الْخَارِجَ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ بِخَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ نِصْفِ أَجْرِ الْخَارِجِ .

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بنو لحیان کی طرف ایک لشکر بھیجا اور فرمایا: ہر دو آدمی میں سے ایک آدمی نکل کھڑا ہو ، اور پھر خانہ نشینوں سے فرمایا: تم میں جو کوئی مجاہد کے اہل و عیال اور مال کی اچھی طرح خبرگیری کرے گا تو اسے جہاد کے لیے نکلنے والے کا نصف ثواب ملے گا ۔

English Translation

Abu Saeed Al Khudri said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sent an expedition towards Banu Lihyan and said “One of the two persons should go forth. He then said to those who sat (at home), If any one of you looks after the family and property of a warrior, he will receive half the reward of the one who goes forth (in jihad). ”
