Baab Sunnah Ki Ehmiyat O Fazilat

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نَافِعٍ يَعْنِي الصَّائِغَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَسَأَلْتُ لَهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِمَعْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَاغْمِزِي قُرُونَكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ حَفْنَةٍ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   ان کے پاس ایک عورت آئی، پھر آگے یہی حدیث بیان ہوئی، ام سلمہ کہتی ہیں: تو میں نے اس کے لیے اسی طرح کی بات نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھی، اس روایت میں ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے بدلے میں فرمایا: ہر لپ کے وقت تم اپنی لٹیں نچوڑ لو ۔

English Translation

Umm Salamah said: A women came to her, this is according to the version of the former tradition. I asked the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم a similar question (as in the former tradition). But this version adds: “And wring out your locks after every handful of water”.
