حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُهَاجِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي وَهْبٍ الْجُشَمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ارْتَبِطُوا الْخَيْلَ وَامْسَحُوا بِنَوَاصِيهَا وَأَعْجَازِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ قَالَ أَكْفَالِهَا وَقَلِّدُوهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تُقَلِّدُوهَا الْأَوْتَارَ .

Urdu Translation

ابو وہب جشمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے   انہیں ( اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ) صحبت حاصل تھی - وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: گھوڑوں کو سرحد کی حفاظت کے لیے تیار کرو، اور ان کی پیشانیوں اور پٹھوں پر ہاتھ پھیرا کرو، اور ان کی گردنوں میں قلادہ ( پٹہ ) پہناؤ، اور انہیں ( نظر بد سے بچنے کے لیے ) تانت کا قلادہ نہ پہنانا ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Wahb al-Jushami,: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Tie the horses, rub down their forelocks and their buttocks (or he said: Their rumps), and put things on their necks, but do not put bowstrings.
