Sunan Abu Dawood 2605 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَلَّمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ فِي سَفَرٍ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ.

Urdu Translation

کعب بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   بہت کم ایسا ہوتا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جمعرات کے علاوہ کسی اور دن سفر میں نکلیں ( یعنی آپ اکثر جمعرات ہی کو نکلتے تھے ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Kab ibn Malik: It was rarely that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم set out on a journey on any day but on a Thursday.
