Sunan Abu Dawood 2619 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الرَّقَّامُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَاشِيَةٍ فَإِنْ كَانَ فِيهَا صَاحِبُهَا فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنْهُ فَإِنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ فَلْيَحْلِبْ وَلْيَشْرَبْ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيُصَوِّتْ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ أَجَابَهُ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنْهُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَحْتَلِبْ وَلْيَشْرَبْ وَلَا يَحْمِلْ .

Urdu Translation

سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی کسی جانور کے پاس سے گزرے اور اس کا مالک موجود ہو تو اس سے اجازت لے، اگر وہ اجازت دیدے تو دودھ دوہ کر پی لے اور اگر اس کا مالک موجود نہ ہو تو تین بار اسے آواز دے، اگر وہ آواز کا جواب دے تو اس سے اجازت لے، ورنہ دودھ دوہے اور پی لے، لیکن ساتھ نہ لے جائے ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When one of you comes to the cattle, he should seek permission of their master if he is there; if he permits, he should milk (the animals) and drink. If he is not there, he should call three times. If he responds, he should seek his permission; otherwise, he may milk (the animals) and drink, but should not carry (with him).
