Sunan Abu Dawood 2653 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَيْنٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَجَلَسَ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِهِ ثُمَّ انْسَلَّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اطْلُبُوهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَسَبَقْتُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَتَلْتُهُ وَأَخَذْتُ سَلَبَهُ فَنَفَّلَنِي إِيَّاهُ.

Urdu Translation

سلمہ بن الاکوع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مشرکوں میں سے ایک جاسوس آیا، آپ سفر میں تھے، وہ آپ کے اصحاب کے پاس بیٹھا رہا، پھر چپکے سے فرار ہو گیا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کو تلاش کر کے قتل کر ڈالو ، سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: سب سے پہلے میں اس کے پاس پہنچا اور جا کر اسے قتل کر دیا اور اس کا مال لے لیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے بطور نفل ( انعام ) مجھے دیدیا۔

English Translation

Ibn Salamah bin Al Akwa repoted on the authority of his father. A spy of the polytheists came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم when he was on a journey. He sat near his Companions and then slipped away. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said “look for him and kill him”. He said “I raced to him and killed him. I took his belongings which he (the Prophet) gave me.
