Sunan Abu Dawood 2745 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَبَلَغَتْ سُهْمَانُنَا اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنَفَّلَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ رَوَاهُ بُرْدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَاهُ أَيُّوبُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَنُفِّلْنَا بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَمْ يَذْكُرِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Urdu Translation

اس سند سے بھی عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں ایک سریہ میں بھیجا، تو ہمارے حصہ میں بارہ بارہ اونٹ آئے، اور ایک ایک اونٹ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں بطور انعام دیا۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے برد بن سنان نے نافع سے عبیداللہ کی حدیث کے ہم مثل روایت کیا ہے اور اسے ایوب نے بھی نافع سے اسی کے مثل روایت کیا، مگر اس میں یہ ہے کہ ہمیں ایک ایک اونٹ بطور نفل دئیے گئے اور انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Abd Allaah (bin Umar) said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sent us along with a detachment. The share of each was twelve Camels. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم gave each one of us a Camel as a reward. Abu Dawud said “Burd bin Sinan narrated a similar tradition from Nafi as narrated by Ubaid Allaah. Ayyub also narrated from Nafi a similar tradition, but his version goes “We were rewarded one Camel each. He did not mention the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
