Sunan Abu Dawood 2775 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَهُوَ يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ الأَشْعَثِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ نُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَلَمَّا كُنَّا قَرِيبًا مِنْ عَزْوَرَا نَزَلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَدَعَا اللَّهَ سَاعَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ خَرَّ سَاجِدًا فَمَكَثَ طَوِيلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَدَعَا اللَّهَ سَاعَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ خَرَّ سَاجِدًا فَمَكَثَ طَوِيلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ سَاعَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ خَرَّ سَاجِدًا ذَكَرَهُ أَحْمَدُ ثَلَاثًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ رَبِّي وَشَفَعْتُ لِأُمَّتِي فَأَعْطَانِي ثُلُثَ أُمَّتِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَخَرَرْتُ سَاجِدًا شُكْرًا لِرَبِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ رَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي فَسَأَلْتُ رَبِّي لِأُمَّتِي فَأَعْطَانِي ثُلُثَ أُمَّتِي فَخَرَرْتُ سَاجِدًا لِرَبِّي شُكْرًا ثُمَّ رَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَأَلْتُ رَبِّي لِأُمَّتِي فَأَعْطَانِي الثُّلُثَ الْآخِرَ فَخَرَرْتُ سَاجِدًا لِرَبِّي ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ أَشْعَثُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَسْقَطَهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ. حينَ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ عَنْهُ مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ.

Urdu Translation

سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مکہ سے نکلے، ہم مدینہ کا ارادہ کر رہے تھے، جب ہم عزورا ۱؎کے قریب ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اترے، پھر آپ نے دونوں ہاتھوں کو اٹھایا، اور کچھ دیر اللہ سے دعا کی، پھر سجدہ میں گر پڑے، اور بڑی دیر تک سجدہ ہی میں پڑے رہے، پھر کھڑے ہوئے اور دونوں ہاتھ اٹھا کر کچھ دیر تک اللہ سے دعا کی، پھر سجدے میں گر پڑے اور دیر تک سجدہ میں پڑے رہے، پھر اٹھے اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھا کر کچھ دیر دعا کی، پھر دوبارہ آپ سجدے میں گر پڑے، اور فرمایا: میں نے اپنے رب سے دعا کی اور اپنی امت کے لیے سفارش کی تو اللہ نے مجھے ایک تہائی امت دے دی، میں اپنے رب کا شکر ادا کرتے ہوئے سجدہ میں گر گیا، پھر سر اٹھایا، اور اپنی امت کے لیے دعا کی تو اللہ نے مجھے اپنی امت کا ایک تہائی اور دے دیا تو میں اپنے رب کا شکر ادا کرنے کے لیے پھر سجدہ میں گر گیا، پھر میں نے اپنا سر اٹھایا، اور اپنی امت کے لیے اپنے رب سے درخواست کی تو اللہ نے جو ایک تہائی باقی تھا اسے بھی مجھے دے دیا تو میں اپنے رب کا شکریہ ادا کرنے کے لیے سجدے میں گر پڑا ۔

English Translation

Narrated Saad ibn Abu Waqqas: We went out with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم from Makkah making for Madina. When we were near Azwara', he alighted, then raised his hands, and made supplication to Allah for a time, after which he prostrated himself, remaining a long time in prostration. Then he stood up and raised his hands for a time, after which he prostrated himself, remaining a long time in prostration. He then said: I begged my Lord and made intercession for my people, and He gave me a third of my people, so I prostrated myself in gratitude to my Lord.
