حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ضَحَّى خَالٌ لِي يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ شَاتُكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عِنْدِي دَاجِنًا جَذَعَةً مِنَ الْمَعْزِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اذْبَحْهَا وَلَا تَصْلُحُ لِغَيْرِكَ .

Urdu Translation

براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   میرے ابوبردہ نامی ایک ماموں نے نماز سے پہلے قربانی کر لی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: یہ تمہاری بکری گوشت کی بکری ہوئی ، انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میرے پاس بکریوں میں سے ایک پلی ہوئی جذعہ ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسی کو ذبح کر ڈالو، لیکن تمہارے سوا اور کسی کے لیے ایسا کرنا درست نہیں ۔

English Translation

Narrated Al-Bara ibn Azib: A maternal uncle of mine called Abu Burdah sacrificed before the prayer (for Eid). The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Your goat is meant for flesh. He said: Messenger of Allah, I have a domestic kid with me. He said: Sacrifice it, but it is not valid for any man other than you.
