حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَتْنِي زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَتْ تُهَرَاقُ الدَّمَ وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَتُصَلِّي ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ أُمَّ بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى مَا يُرِيبُهَا بَعْدَ الطُّهْرِ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا هِيَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِرْقٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عُرُوقٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ الْأَمْرَانِ جَمِيعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ قَوِيتِ فَاغْتَسِلِي لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِلَّا فَاجْمَعِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَمَا قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْقَوْلُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا.

Urdu Translation

ابوسلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ زینب بنت ابی سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے خبر دی کہ   ایک عورت کو استحاضہ کی شکایت تھی اور وہ عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کے عقد میں تھیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ہر نماز کے لیے غسل کرنے اور نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دیا۔ ( یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر کہتے ہیں کہ ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن ) نے مجھے خبر دی کہ ام بکر نے انہیں خبر دی ہے کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس عورت کے متعلق جو طہر کے بعد ایسی چیز دیکھے جو اسے شک میں ڈال دے، فرمایا: یہ تو بس ایک رگ ہے ، یا فرمایا: یہ تو بس رگیں ہیں ، راوی کو شک ہے کہ «إنما هي عرق» کہا یا «إنما هو عروق» کہا۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ابن عقیل کی حدیث میں دونوں امر ایک ساتھ ہیں، اس میں ہے: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر ہو سکے تو تم ہر نماز کے لیے غسل کرو، ورنہ دو دو نماز کو جمع کر لو ، جیسا کہ قاسم نے اپنی حدیث میں کہا ہے، نیز یہ قول سعید بن جبیر سے بھی مروی ہے، وہ علی اور ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Zaynab daughter of Abu Salamah: Abu Salamah said: Zaynab daughter of Abu Salamah reported to me that a woman had a copious flow of blood. She was the wife of Abdur Rahman ibn Awf. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded her to take a bath at the time of every prayer, and then to pray. He reported to me that Umm Bakr told him that Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said about a woman who was doubtful of her menstruation after purification that it was a vein or veins. Abu Dawud said: The two commands (of which the Prophet gave option) were as follows in the version reported by Ibn Aqil: He said: If you are strong enough, then take a bath for every prayer; otherwise combine the (two prayers), as al-Qasim reported in his version. This statement was also narrated by Saeed bin Jubair from Ali and Ibn Abbas.
