حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُخَرَّمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ.

Urdu Translation

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عبداللہ بن ام مکتوم رضی اللہ عنہ کو مدینہ میں دو مرتبہ ( جب جہاد کو جانے لگے ) اپنا قائم مقام ( خلیفہ ) بنایا ۱؎۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم appointed Ubn Umm Makthum as a governor of Madina (in his absence) twice.
