Baab Lukta Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِمَعْنَى إِسْنَادِ أَبِي تَوْبَةَ وَحَدِيثِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ مَا يَقْضِي عَنِّي فَسَكَتَ عَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاغْتَمَزْتُهَا.

Urdu Translation

اس سند سے بھی ابوتوبہ کی حدیث کے ہم معنی حدیث مروی ہے، اس میں ہے کہ   جب میں نے کہا کہ نہ آپ کے پاس اتنا مال ہے اور نہ میرے پاس کہ قرضہ ادا ہو جائے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خاموش رہے مجھے کوئی جواب نہیں دیا تو مجھے بڑی گرانی ہوئی ( کہ شاید رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میری بات پر توجہ نہیں دی ) ۔

English Translation

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Muawiyah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect as narrated by Abu Taubah. This version has “I have nothing to pay from me. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم thereupon kept silence and this displeased me. ”
