Baab Lukta Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُمَيْعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِيأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُعَاذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ عَقَدَ الْجِزْيَةَ فِي عُنُقِهِ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِمَّا عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Urdu Translation

معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں   جس نے اپنی گردن میں جزیہ کا قلادہ ڈالا ( یعنی اپنے اوپر جزیہ مقرر کرایا ) تو وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے طریقے سے بری ہو گیا ( یعنی اس نے اچھا نہ کیا ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Muadh ibn Jabal: He who put the necklace of jizyah in his neck abandoned the way followed by the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
