حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ غُلَامًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ كَانَ مَرِضَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَعَدَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ أَسْلِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنَظَرَ إِلَى أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُوهُ:‏‏‏‏ أَطِعْ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَسْلَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْقَذَهُ بِي مِنَ النَّارِ .

Urdu Translation

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک یہودی لڑکا بیمار پڑا تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کے پاس عیادت کے لیے آئے اور اس کے سرہانے بیٹھ گئے پھر اس سے فرمایا: تم مسلمان ہو جاؤ ، اس نے اپنے باپ کی طرف دیکھا جو اس کے سرہانے تھا تو اس سے اس کے باپ نے کہا: ابوالقاسم ۱؎ کی اطاعت کرو ، تو وہ مسلمان ہو گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ کہتے ہوئے اٹھ کھڑے ہوئے: تمام تعریفیں اس ذات کے لیے ہیں جس نے اس کو میری وجہ سے آگ سے نجات دی ۲؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: A young Jew became ill. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم went to visit him. He sat down by his head and said to him: Accept Islam. He looked at his father who was beside him near his head, and he said: Obey Abu al-Qasim. So he accepted Islam, and the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم stood up saying: Praise be to Allah Who has saved him through me from Hell.
