Baab Ghulam Ki Azadi Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَرْوِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ تَبِعَ جَنَازَةً فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ تَبِعَهَا حَتَّى يُفْرَغَ مِنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَصْغَرُهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   جو شخص جنازہ کے ساتھ جائے اور نماز جنازہ پڑھے تو اسے ایک قیراط ( کا ثواب ) ملے گا، اور جو جنازہ کے ساتھ جائے اور اس کے دفنانے تک ٹھہرا رہے تو اسے دو قیراط ( کا ثواب ) ملے گا، ان میں سے چھوٹا قیراط یا ان میں سے ایک قیراط احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہو گا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: If anyone attends the funeral and prays over (the dead), he will get the reward of one qirat, and if anyone attends the funeral until the completion (of the burial), he will get the reward of two qirats, the smaller of them being equivalent of Uhud, or one of them being equivalent to Uhud.
