حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعَابْنُ عُمَرَ رَجُلًا يَحْلِفُ لَا وَالْكَعْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ .

Urdu Translation

سعد بن عبیدہ کہتے ہیں   عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک شخص کو کعبہ کی قسم کھاتے ہوئے سنا تو ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس سے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: جس نے اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کے نام کی قسم کھائی تو اس نے شرک کیا ۔

English Translation

Saeed ibn Ubaydah said: Ibn Umar heard a man swearing: No, I swear by the Kabah. Ibn Umar said to him: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: He who swears by anyone but Allah is polytheist.
